Women’s Referral Network and Lamb McErlane Donate to Bridge of Hope
West Chester, PA – The Women’s Referral Network of Chester County (“WRN”) has teamed up with the Bridge of Hope, an organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Chester and Lancaster counties. At a luncheon on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, the WRN supported the Bridge of Hope’s drive for “Backpacks for Hope” by collecting backpacks and school supplies for children in need.
The Women’s Referral Network of Chester County promotes business opportunities for and among women. From entrepreneurs to executives, members build relationships based on their commitment to each other’s success.
Tammy D. Cummings, an associate in Lamb McErlane’s litigation department and the Women’s Referral Network Community Partnership Chair, presented school supplies and cash donations on behalf of members of the WRN and from Lamb McErlane. “What better way to get ready for returning to school than to go shopping with your children and explain the importance of giving to other children who are less fortunate,” says Cummings.
It is not too late to donate school supplies to the children of the Bridge of Hope for the “Backpacks of Hope” drive. Some examples of items needed are crayons, colored pencils, folders, paper, notebooks and backpacks. Please contact Tammy Cummings at 610.701.3260 to donate items or for more information on how you can get involved in the WRN and the Bridge of Hope.
