Lamb McErlane Attorneys graduate from Leadership Program
Lauren K. Milks and David A. Gomez recently graduated from the 2012 class of Leadership Chester County. Leadership Chester County (“LCC”), formerly Chester County Leadership Connection, is a partnership of United Way of Chester County, West Chester University and the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry. Lauren and David completed an eight month program which focused on LCC’s mission to strengthen nonprofit organizations in Chester County by educating skilled and concerned citizens in nonprofit governance, then matching them to positions on boards of nonprofit agencies within Chester County.
Graduates of LCC develop skills in Relational Leadership, Advocacy, Social Entrepreneurship and Balancing Commitments for multi-talented teams dedicated to community improvement. Both Lauren and David helped develop a business model for the Chester County Food Bank to set up a permanent food pantry in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania. This business model was then presented to the Board of Directors of the Food Bank, and is now ready for implementation.
