Since its inception in 1948 as the law firm of Rogers & O’Neill, Lamb McErlane has built a prominent presence throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania with areas of concentration in litigation, business law, municipal law, banking and municipal finance, real estate, post-trial and appellate practice, employment law, estate planning, personal injury, government liability, criminal defense and family law.
In 1971, following his appointment as one of the first members of Pennsylvania’s newly-created Commonwealth Court, founding partner Ted Rogers transitioned the firm to Bill Lamb, Susan Windle and Jim McErlane. Judge Rogers returned to the firm after he retired from the Commonwealth Court, and both he and Susan Windle Rogers retired in the early 1990s. Partner Bill Lamb was selected by Governor Mark Schweiker to serve a one-year term as Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Bill completed his term and rejoined the firm, bringing unique experience and insight in the areas of appellate review and procedure to the firm’s post-trial and appellate practice.
Over the years, Lamb McErlane has added accomplished and talented lawyers from large urban firms and judicial chambers. With a culture of leadership and participation in the judicial and political institutions that shape our laws, as well as extensive community involvement, the Lamb McErlane team is well prepared to help you achieve your business and personal objectives.
