West Chester, PA – Lamb McErlane PC is proud to announce that Justice William H. Lamb, Chairman of Lamb McErlane PC, is a recipient of The Legal Intelligencer’s 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award.

William H. Lamb, former Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, is Chairman of Lamb McErlane PC and oversees the firm’s Post-Trial and Appellate Advocacy Group. He annually has been recognized as a top 100 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for appellate law and a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2005. Justice Lamb also served as District Attorney of Chester County. He is an active member of the community and served on the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Court of Judicial Discipline as President Judge, the Pennsylvania Elections Reform Task Force, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and as a Senior Trustee for the Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, PA.

The twenty-two recipients chosen to receive the award represent individuals who have helped to shape the law in Pennsylvania, based on their work on the bench, assisting those in need of legal services, building a law firm and other means. To be considered for the award an attorney must have had a distinct impact on the legal profession in the state of Pennsylvania and must still be practicing law. They must have collectively moved forward the legal profession in the state, helped foster the legal education of younger attorneys and stood as examples of some of the best virtues of Pennsylvania attorneys. Award recipients will be recognized at a dinner on May 29, 2014 and featured in a special supplement to The Legal Intelligencer.
