Lamb McErlane Attorney Elected Chairman of East Bradford Township Board of Supervisors

West Chester, PA – Lamb McErlane PC is proud to announce Vincent M. Pompo, partner and chairman of the firm’s municipal law department and the environmental law practice group, has been elected Chairman of the East Bradford Township Board of Supervisors.

“Vince is extremely deserving of this prominent appointment,” states Managing Partner Joel L. Frank. “He is a respected leader in the community and we know he will be an influential asset as Chairman.”

In 1933, Pennsylvania enacted the Second Class Township Code which sets forth the general and corporate powers of the township and the manner in which the supervisors will exercise these rights. The voting public elects three supervisors and three auditors (all must be residents of the township), each to a six-year term of office. The Board of Supervisors must convene the first Monday in January to organize the township and also appoint new members and fill vacancies to the different boards and commissions.

A frequent speaker on municipal and environmental issues, Pompo has served as a member of the East Bradford Board of Supervisors since 2003. He also serves as township solicitor for several Chester County municipalities including East Fallowfield, Franklin, Sadsbury, West Whiteland and Willistown, as well as several regional recreational, sewer and solid waste municipal authorities. Vince spearheaded the acclaimed open space program in East Bradford Township, serving as the first chairman of the Open Space Review Board, and continues to counsel municipalities and conservation organizations on open space acquisitions.
