Rafferty Jr. has joined the firm as Of Counsel.  Senator Rafferty represents the residents of Pennsylvania’s 44th Senatorial District, which includes parts of Berks, Chester and Montgomery counties. He serves as Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, and is a member of Appropriations, Banking and Insurance, Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, and Law and Justice Committees.

Senator Rafferty was re-elected for a third term with the Senate in November of 2010. Prior to running for the Senate, Senator Rafferty served as an attorney in private practice, focusing on education, real estate, zoning and business and estates law. As prior Deputy Attorney General for the Commonwealth he worked in the Criminal Law Division. He is very active in local government, serving on various boards, authorities and commissions.

Senator Rafferty earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, his master’s degree from Beaver College, and his law degree from Temple University.
