Lamb McErlane Senior Partner Jim McErlane Receives the 2026 Chester County Library Trust Donor Appreciation Award
Congratulations to Lamb McErlane Senior Partner Jim McErlane on receiving the 2026 Chester County Library Trust Donor Appreciation Award. Jim was recognized for his commitment, leadership, and generous support of the Chester County library system and the community.
Jim has been involved with the Chester County Library Trust since before its official formation. In 2006, when the Library Trust was being established, Jim played an instrumental role in bringing the Trust into existence. He served as its Founding President and continued in that leadership role for many years. Jim helped build the foundation of the Trust and strengthen the relationship between the Trust and the Chester County Library system that continues today.
Lamb McErlane partner and Chester County Library Trust board member, Katie LaDow presented the award to Jim. Former Pennsylvania Senator Andy Dinniman gave remarks, as did other members of the Chester County Library Trust. Jim also received an official proclamation from the Chester County Board of Commissioners.
Jim has given his time, leadership, and wisdom to an extraordinary number of organizations throughout our country and our community; from his service to the Navy JAG during the Vietnam War, the Chester County Economic Development Council and Chester County Community Foundation, to Paoli Hospital, Villanova University, West Chester University, March of Dimes, the Chester County Food Bank, the Boy Scouts, and, of course, the Chester County Library and the Chester County Library Trust.
