Lamb McErlane PC Partners Maureen M. McBride and James C. Sargent Co-Present at the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges

Lamb McErlane PC partners Maureen M. McBride and James C. Sargent co-presented “Questions on Appellate Procedure” at the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges (PCSTJ) on July 28, 2017. The seminar focused on issues that arise before trial courts with regard to the finality of orders, interlocutory appeals, appeals of collateral orders and other procedural issues that trial courts face when an appeal is taken.

Maureen M. McBride is partner and co-chair of Lamb McErlane’s Appellate Department and member of Lamb McErlane’s Litigation Department. She also serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee and concentrates her practice on appellate law and litigation in state and federal courts.

James (Jim) Sargent is partner and co-chair of Lamb McErlane’s Appellate Advocacy Group and Litigation Department. He has represented major national and multinational manufacturers in litigation and appeals involving class action, product liability, taxation, warranty, fraud, employment and consumer protection law claims.

The mission of the PCSTJ is to promote the administration of justice throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by researching and disseminating to its members information of interest to the judiciary. They develop and promote the enactment of legislation enhancing the desirability of judicial service and work with other organizations, such as bar associations and law schools to promote projects designed to improve the administration of the law.
