Lamb McErlane PC Partner Vince Pompo, Committed to the Environment and Open Spaces. East Bradford Neighbors Article
These days, it can be tough to find a lot of open space in Chester County, but in Paradise Valley in northern East Bradford Township, its 15 acres creates a lovely, rural feel despite being just minutes from the bustling areas of Exton, Downingtown and West Chester. Here, located along Valley Creek Road, you will find Vince Pompo, partner and chairman of Municipal & Environmental Law at Lamb McErlane PC in West Chester and former East Bradford Township Supervisor.
“Jim McErlane recruited me to join Lamb McErlane,” Pompo said. “The firm has a strong municipal practice, representing numerous townships, boroughs, municipal authorities and school districts in the region. The fit was perfect.” So perfect that he is now celebrating 32 years with the firm and is a partner and chairs the municipal and environmental law department.
Vince became the first Chairman of the East Bradford Open Space Review Board. In this capacity, Pompo worked with the Township Supervisors and landowners to continue to preserve open spaces within East Bradford. The ability to protect these vital lands is something he is proud to be able to do.
The efforts have led to more than 1,000 acres being preserved through a multitude of support, cooperation, donations, township funds and grants.
Vince has also served as Chairman of the East Bradford Board of Supervisors and was subsequently elected for three consecutive six-year terms.
Outside of this, Pompo supports several local and regional nonprofits, including serving eight years on the Board of Directors of Lundale Farm, Inc., a nonprofit, sustainable farming community.
