Lamb McErlane PC partner Maureen M. McBride spoke at the Pennsylvania Physicians Legal Issues Conference, held by the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.(PBA)

Maureen and a panel will discuss the Anatomy of a Malpractice Case. This session will provide a step-by-step analysis of a medical malpractice case from complaint to appeal, an explanation of how a medical malpractice case works through the court system and advice to physicians regarding litigation stress.

At Lamb McErlane, Maureen is co-chair of the firm’s Appellate Department and member of the Firm’s Litigation Department. She also serves on Lamb McErlane’s Executive Committee. Maureen concentrates her practice on appellate law, medical malpractice defense and commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Named a “ten year” Super Lawyer, a “Best Lawyer in America” and a “Main Line Top Lawyer,” Maureen provides counseling and advice to a wide array of corporate clients and individuals. She was recently appointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as a Member of the Civil Procedural Rules Committee.

Maureen frequently shares her experience with her fellow attorneys through the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s continuing Legal Education courses.
