Lamb McErlane PC Partner Maureen M. McBride Appointed Chair of Chester County Civil Court Rules Committee

Lamb McErlane PC partner Maureen M. McBride has been appointed Chair of the Chester County, PA, 2024-2025 Civil Court Rules Committee. The Chester County Civil Court Rules Committee makes recommendations to the court concerning local procedure in civil matters and the declaration and amendment of local rules of civil procedure. The chairman of the committee is a non-judicial member of the committee and is designated by the president judge.

At Lamb McErlane Maureen is co-chair of the Firm’s Appellate Department, a member of the Litigation Department and the Firm’s Executive Committee. She concentrates her practice on appellate law and commercial litigation in state and federal courts.

Maureen serves in leadership roles in numerous business and civic organizations. She was appointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as Co-Chair of the Civil Procedural Rules Committee and is currently Co-Chair for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Appellate Advocacy Committee. She has also served as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee and on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Rules of Evidence Committee, where she served as Chair from 2016-2018. In addition, she was on the Board of the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Security from 2005-2009. Maureen also completed a six-year term as a Hearing Committee member serving the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
