Lamb McErlane PC Partner Maureen M. McBride a Presenter at the Pennsylvania Superior Court Symposium

Lamb McErlane PC partner Maureen M. McBride was a presenter at the Pennsylvania Superior Court Symposium. The seminar showcased practice, procedures, and perspectives from the Superior Court Bench and highlights from a practitioner’s perspective. Maureen presented along with Pennsylvania Bar Association Appellate Advocacy Committee Co-Chair Karl Myers and member John J. Hare. The event was also a celebration of the Superior Court’s 125th anniversary.

At Lamb McErlane, Maureen is co-chair of the Firm’s Appellate Department and member of the Litigation Department and Executive Committee. She concentrates her practice on appellate law and commercial litigation in state and federal courts.

In addition to serving as Co-Chair for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Appellate Advocacy Committee, Maureen was recently appointed Chair of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Civil Procedural Rules Committee. The Civil Procedural Rules Committee, established in 1937, is the oldest of the PA Supreme Court’s rules committees.

Maureen previously served on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Rules of Evidence Committee, where she was Chair from 2016-2018 and on the Board of the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Security from 2005-2009. Additionally, Maureen held a six-year term as a Hearing Committee member serving the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Maureen is a frequent speaker and presenter and has served on numerous Supreme Court and Bar Association committees.   Maureen is named a 2023 Super Lawyer and has been recognized as a “Top 50 Women in Pennsylvania”, as well as one of the “Top 100 Philadelphia” lawyers.
