Lamb McErlane Partner Mary-Ellen Allen Honored for Serving as President of the Chester County Bar Assoc & Will Serve as President of the Chester County Bar Foundation

Lamb McErlane PC partner Mary-Ellen H. Allen was honored by the Chester County Bar Association (CCBA) for serving as the 2018 President at a dinner held on January 18, 2019 at Aronimink Golf Club. Mary-Ellen has been a member of the CCBA Board of Directors since 2010 and has served five years on the executive committee.

“It has been an honor to serve as President of the CCBA and an experience I will value for years to come,” says Allen.

In her role as President Mary-Ellen was instrumental in working with the Board of Directors to implement a new strategic plan. The strategic goals include strengthening the CCBA’s services, outcome and infrastructure.

“We’re proud of what Mary-Ellen accomplished this past year as President of the CCBA and even more proud to have her as a member of our firm”, remarked Joel L. Frank, Lamb McErlane PC Chairman and Managing Partner.

In 2019 Mary-Ellen will serve as President of the Chester County Bar Foundation (CCBF).  The Foundation’s mission is to help Chester County citizens understand, gain access to and benefit from our legal system.

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Mary-Ellen this past year and her leadership, professionalism and ability to collaborate have helped lead the bar association to even greater heights.  I look forward to working with her this year as the President of our Bar Foundation,” commented Wendy C. Leeper, Executive Director of the CCBA.

At Lamb McErlane Mary-Ellen is a partner and co-chair of the Employment Law Department and a member of the Litigation department. She concentrates her practice in Employment Law and Commercial Litigation. Mary-Ellen has consecutively been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2011, which is an annual recognition obtained by only 5% of Pennsylvania’s attorneys.
