Lamb McErlane Partner Maureen M. McBride a Panelist at the PBA’s Midyear Meeting on PA Appellate Courts

Lamb McErlane PC partner Maureen M. McBride was a panelist for the program, Pennsylvania Appellate Courts: An Inside Look, at the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s (PBA) 2022 Midyear Meeting.

Maureen joined a notable panel of appellate judges, giving an inside look into how the Pennsylvania courts decide cases and details on the appellate process. Panelists included Hon. Jack A. Panella, President Judge, Superior Court of Pa, Hon. P. Kevin Brobson, Justice of the Supreme Court of Pa and Moderator Philip H. Yoon, Chief Staff Attorney, Central Legal Staff, Superior Court of Pa.

At Lamb McErlane, Maureen is co-chair of the Appellate Department and member of Lamb McErlane’s Litigation Department and the Firm’s Executive Committee. She concentrates her practice on appellate law and commercial litigation in state and federal courts.

Maureen recently provided commentary on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s December oral arguments on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN).  Maureen also served as a moderator for the Pennsylvania for Modern Courts’ Pennsylvania Appellate Courts Candidates’ Forum and was a contributor to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (PBI) seminar ‘Now What? PA Appellate Courts in the New Normal’.

Maureen is Co-Chair for the PBA’s Appellate Advocacy Committee and is a member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Civil Procedural Rules Committee. Maureen has served on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Rules of Evidence Committee where she served as Chair from 2016-2018 and on the Board of the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Security from 2005-2009. Maureen also completed a six-year term as a Hearing Committee member serving the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
