Lamb McErlane Partner Mark P. Thompson Appointed Interim Solicitor for the Borough of Downingtown PA

West Chester, PA – Mark P. Thompson, a partner in Lamb McErlane PC’s municipal law department has been appointed as the interim solicitor for the Borough of Downingtown, PA.

The Council unanimously accepted Mark Thompson and Lamb McErlane PC to fill the vacancy until the end of the year. The Borough of Downingtown, located in Chester County, PA, has a council-manager form of government that was established by ordinance in 1953.

Lamb McErlane currently represents multiple local municipalities and school districts, including the Downingtown Area School District. At Lamb McErlane, Mr. Thompson concentrates his practice on municipal, land use, environmental law, and property tax assessment matters. He received his J.D. from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Housing Partnership of Chester County, is member of the Board of Directors of the West Chester Downtown Foundation and is on the Task Force Committee for the Borough of West Chester, PA.
