Lamb McErlane Expands Its Civil Rights Defense Group

West Chester, PA – Lamb McErlane PC, now a 30-attorney full-service law firm, announced today that David MacMain has joined the firm as a partner in their West Chester office. Mr. MacMain specializes in the areas of civil rights, employment, professional defense and municipal law and has represented numerous cities, towns, counties and public entities across Pennsylvania and nationally. Mr. MacMain will be responsible for and oversee the firm’s defense of civil rights and municipal tort cases for public entities and officials throughout Pennsylvania. With extensive trial experience, Mr. MacMain has a wide variety of civil rights and employment expertise including police misconduct, zoning/land use, sexual harassment discrimination, licensing, First Amendment, prison-based and work-place claims and has been named a Super Lawyer in the field of civil rights multiple times.

Prior to joining Lamb McErlane, Mr. MacMain was a partner in the Litigation Department and Labor and Employment Department, Chair of the Government Liability & Civil Rights Defense Group and Vice-Chair of the Commercial & Professional Insurance Defense Group of Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP.

Mr. MacMain received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his law degree, cum laude, from Temple University School of Law. As well, Mr. MacMain is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. Prior to his legal career, Mr. MacMain was a Pennsylvania State Trooper stationed at the Avondale, Chester County Barracks.

Also joining Lamb McErlane from Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP are Janelle Fulton, Of Counsel and Timothy Kepner, Associate.

Ms. Fulton served as Of Counsel in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department and Vice-Chair of the Government Liability & Civil Rights Defense Group and has extensive litigation experience. She has successfully served as associate trial counsel and has argued before state and federal appellate courts. Her practice concentrates on public entity, civil rights and tort liability and commercial litigation. Ms. Fulton received her J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law in 1997, where she was a member of the Temple Law Review. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. degree in English Literature in 1992 from Temple University.

Mr. Kepner served as an associate in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department. His practice is focused on civil rights and municipal defense. Mr. Kepner received his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2002. He graduated with high distinction from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. degree in Administration of Justice in 1999.
