Katherine A. Fow

Katherine (“Katie”) is a family law attorney at Lamb McErlane, where she provides strategic and compassionate counsel to clients navigating a full range of family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution, custody and parenting time, child support, spousal support, and alimony, the preparation and enforcement of property settlement and post-nuptial agreements, and adoption. She is committed to guiding clients through these often-difficult transitions with clarity, advocacy, and long-term perspective.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Before joining Lamb McErlane, Katie practiced at a Montgomery County law firm where she represented medical professionals and healthcare institutions in defense of medical malpractice lawsuits.  In that role, Katie advocated zealously for her clients while she managed all aspects of litigation, which often involved complex legal and medical issues. Katie’s litigation background strengthens her ability to navigate complex family law matters with precision and confidence.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND:

A West Chester native, Katie continues to live here as she raises her daughter.  As a single mother who has personally navigated custody arrangements and blended family dynamics, she brings a uniquely empathetic and practical perspective to her work. Her lived experience informs her commitment to helping clients focus on long-term stability, effective co-parenting, and the creation of healthy family structures during and after separation. Katie is both a compassionate listener and a strong, supportive advocate.

Katie earned her JD from Widener University Delaware Law School and her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Maryland.  She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is based in the firm’s West Chester West location.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE:

When she is not practicing law, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking the kids on local adventures, whether exploring downtown, heading to the beach, or hiking nearby trails.
