Dennis C. Vondran Jr.

Dennis concentrates his practice on estate planning, estate administration, Medicaid long-term care planning and applications, and guardianships.  He works closely with individuals and families to create thoughtful, customized estate plans designed to preserve assets, provide for loved ones, and carry out clients’ wishes both during life and after death.  His estate planning practice includes the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives, with an emphasis on planning for incapacity and long-term care needs.

Dennis also guides executors, administrators, trustees, and beneficiaries through all phases of estate and trust administration.  He assists clients with probate and non-probate matters, fiduciary responsibilities, asset distribution, and resolving issues that may arise during the administration process.  His approach focuses on efficiency, compliance with Pennsylvania law, and minimizing stress for families during difficult transitions.

Dennis has significant experience assisting clients with Medicaid planning and applications for nursing home and long-term care benefits through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.  This experience allows him to integrate Medicaid planning strategies into comprehensive estate plans and to provide practical guidance during estate administration when long-term care issues are involved.

In addition to his planning and administration practice, Dennis represents clients in Orphans’ Court matters, including guardianships for incapacitated persons or minors, fiduciary disputes, and estate-related disputes.  His experience in Orphans’ Court provides a valuable perspective that informs both his estate planning work and his approach to estate administration.

A member of the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Chester County Bar Association, Dennis graduated Summa Cum Laude, with Honors, from Ursinus College with a B.A. in Politics and a minor in International Relations.  While at Ursinus College, Dennis was selected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honors Society), and Pi Gamma Mu (International Honor Society in Social Science).

Dennis earned his Juris Doctor degree, Cum Laude, from Widener Law School, Delaware, in 2009.  At Widener Law School, Dennis was a member of the Widener Law Review in which he was selected as the 2007-2008 Outstanding Staff Member and served as an Articles Editor for the 2008-2009 volume.
