Lamb McErlane PC Chairman, the Honorable William H. Lamb was quoted in the Legal Intelligencer regarding Justice Eakin Apologizing for Insensitive Emails
Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin spoke publicly for the first time about offensive email chains he was involved in, apologized for any insensitive content and said he is fully cooperating with multiple reviews of his conduct.
Former Justice William H. Lamb of Lamb McErlane said he’s known Eakin for years, and he said he believed Eakin’s apology was “both genuine and sincere.”
“He’s a stand-up guy and if he did something wrong, he’s the first to admit it. I commend him for doing that,” Lamb said. “Having said that, it’s a shame that we keep going over and over and over this stuff ad nauseam. But I do commend him for taking the position that he took. I think it’s a good thing what he did, and hopefully this can put the matter behind him and move on.”
