Law 360 -Bill Kalogredis Joins Pennsylvania’s Lamb McErlane to Chair its new Health Care Practice

Bill Kalogredis, a health care attorney with more than 40 years’ experience representing providers, has joined Pennsylvania’s Lamb McErlane to chair its new health care practice.

Kalogredis has largely represented physicians, dentists and other individual medical providers, along with larger groups, in their business and legal dealings. Lamb McErlane — a regional firm with more than 30 attorneys — snagged Kalogredis from Kalogredis, Sansweet, Dearden and Burke Ltd., a health care boutique he helped form in 1981.

“I saw an opportunity with some really good people, whom I’ve known for many years and respected,” he said. “I’ve worked with [Lamb McErlane] on certain things and I knew they were really good lawyers and frankly even better people. It just seems like the right time to back off more administrative responsibility.”

Kalogredis said he’s enjoyed the switch to a firm that can offer more services for his clients, such as attorneys specializing in real estate or litigation.

“We are elated to have Bill join Lamb McErlane and broaden our practice areas with health law,” Managing Partner Joel L. Frank said in a statement. “He is a preeminent practitioner in the health law field and his strengths align well with those of the firm. The health law department will further expand the nature of services we offer.”

Kalogredis earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law.
