Lamb McErlane PC Welcomes Summer Associate Elydah Joyce

Lamb McErlane PC welcomes summer associate Elydah Joyce. The Firm is once again participating in the Chester County Bar Association’s (CCBA) Diverse Law Student Summer Internship program. Elydah is currently attending Temple University Beasley Law School pursuing Litigation, Criminal Law, Labor & Employment and Public Interest as her preferred practice areas.

Elydah received her bachelor’s degree from Hampshire College and her masters from University of British Columbia. Along with her education, student leadership and community organizing have been priorities for Elydah. As an undergraduate she co-created the student group Hampshire Students Against Mass Incarceration (HSAMI).  During her graduate program in Canada her passion for encouraging diversity in programs let her to working with the Equity and Inclusion Office, where she helped create the first IBPOC (Indigenous, Black, and People of Color) staff and faculty group on campus. At Temple, Elydah is co-president of the Latin American Law School Association (LALSA) for her 2L year. She was a 1L representative for the student group and worked actively to help create community space and support for Latinx students at Temple Law School.

Additionally, she recently completed a term clerkship with the Honorable Judge Anhalt at the Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division where she conducted legal research on pre-trial motions.

Chester County Bar Association’s (CCBA) Diverse Law Student Summer Internship program offers first and second-year students a unique opportunity for summer employment in outstanding law firms and/or corporate law departments.
