Lamb McErlane PC Welcomes Summer Associate Anna A. O’Brien
Lamb McErlane PC recently welcomed summer associate Anna A. O’Brien to the firm. Anna attends Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and is pursuing Civil Litigation as her preferred practice area. At Lamb McErlane Anna is working with several attorneys in various practice areas, gaining valuable legal experience.
Along with her education, student and community leadership opportunities have been priorities for Anna. At Villanova, she is the current Vice Chairperson of the Charles Widger School of Law Moot Court Board. She has competed in the William & Mary Spong Constitutional Law Competition preparing briefs and oral arguments. In 2022, Anna was the first-place winner of the Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition at Villanova. She prepared and presented brief and oral arguments with a team member, competing among thirty teams in Villanova Law School’s Annual Moot Court Competition.
Additionally, she completed an Internship at the Chambers of Hon. Berle M. Schiller, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of PA in Philadelphia. She drafted judicial opinions, wrote case outlines before pretrial conferences, edited clerks’ opinions, and attended trials, hearings, and other court proceedings.
Anna has also participated as a leader, coordinator, and volunteer for the Appalachian Experience, where she managed a team of 25 leaders, refurbishing homes, community centers, and schools in Virginia and West Virginia. Anna received her Bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University.
