Lamb McErlane PC Supports the Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation

In December 2017 Lamb McErlane PC collected toys to donate to the Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation for children in need in Chester, PA.

The Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation was established in August 2010, just a few weeks after Andrew tragically passed away on a family vacation in California. The West Chester teen had spent time during the summer volunteering alongside his church in the City of Chester.  In an effort to further Andrew’s passion to see opportunities become available to the youth of Chester, the Foundation creates events and programs which bring together Chester children and the West Chester area community. The Foundation also offers Chester County high school students with opportunities to volunteer and lead through these events and programs.

In January 2018 KYW News Radio 1060 was accepting nominations for “Game Changers” in the African American community. Game Changers are individuals or organizations that have used their volunteer efforts and community influence to make a significant, positive change for people of color in the previous year.  Lamb McErlane attorney Lawrence “Skip” Persick nominated the Hicks Foundation and head of the Foundation, Karen Hicks, Andrew’s mother for being a “Game Changer.” The Hicks Foundation was chosen as one of 10 winners out of 875 nominees.  Click here to listen to the Game Changers interview.
