Lamb McErlane partner Vasilios J. “Bill” Kalogredis spoke at Penn State Hershey Medical Center on May 3, 2023 to OB/GYN Residents and Fellows and to the Obstetrical Society of Philadelphia on May 5, 2023 at Lankenau Hospital on the Considerations in Understanding and Negotiating Employment Contracts.

In the programs Bill reviewed the importance of employment agreements for healthcare professionals. He discussed the terms of agreements, compensation, malpractice insurance issues, fringe benefits, restrictive covenants and non-competition, as well as non-solicitation.

Bill is Chairman of Lamb McErlane’s Health Law Department. He has been practicing health law for over 45 years, exclusively representing physicians, dentists, group practices, other health care professionals and health care related entities. Bill is sought after to lecture both locally and nationally on health law topics and has published many articles on current issues in health law and the business of medicine.

Bill has significant experience representing many medical and dental groups, as well as individual physicians and dentists. He drafts, reviews and negotiates all kinds of agreements, including co-ownership documents, employment contracts, non-competition clauses and separation agreements. He also analyzes and negotiates physician arrangements with hospitals and other organizations.
