Lamb McErlane PC partner James C. (“Jim”) Sargent spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) on November 8, 2017 on ‘Business Divorce: Startup to Litigation to Resolution’ in Philadelphia, PA.

The course outlined understanding business divorce complexities and how to advise clients starting businesses and/or stuck in intolerable situations. Jim specifically discussed litigation issues; potential claims, injunctive relief, insurance coverage, e-discovery and attorney’s fees.

The course also covered essential strategies and tactics for dealing with the legal and business aspects of shareholder and partner disputes in privately held companies.

At Lamb McErlane Jim is Co-Chairman of the Appellate Advocacy Group and part of the Firm’s Litigation Department.
