Lamb McErlane Partner Appointed By PA Supreme Court

West Chester, PA – Lamb McErlane PC is honored to announce that James E. McErlane, senior partner at the firm, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

“The entire firm is incredibly proud of this prestigious appointment,” states Managing Partner Joel L. Frank. “Jim is especially deserving of this honor for the dedication he has shown to the profession over the years.”

The Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania investigates allegations of ethical misconduct against Pennsylvania judges. The Board consists of 12 members (three judges, three lawyers and six non-lawyers), all of whom must be Pennsylvania citizens. Half of the Board members are chosen by the Governor, the other half by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Jim McErlane practices in the areas of banking and finance, real estate, municipal law and governmental regulations. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for General Business Law. McErlane is an active member of the Chester County community, having worked with organizations such as the Chester County Chamber for Business and Industry, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, the Chester County Development Council, Board of Consultors of Villanova Law School, Paoli Hospital, Great Valley Health, Community Volunteers in Medicine, Malvern Preparatory School, the West Chester University Foundation, the Chester County Library Trust, and the Chester County Food Bank, among others. In 1997, he established the James E. McErlane Scholarship for International Studies at West Chester University.
