9th Annual Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference
Lamb McErlane Partner Vince Pompo was a featured presenter at the 9th Annual Pennsylvania Land Conservation Convention in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on the topic “Pipelines, Community and Safety: Land Use and Model Ordinances Description”. With the development of the Marcellus Shale Gas in play, pipelines will have an increasing presence in Pennsylvania’s communities, landscapes & watersheds. Private and public land in conservation is not immune from pipeline siting. Mr. Pompo discussed Land Use Planning and Model Municipal Ordinances newly created to foster safety in the siting of pipeline projects in Chester County municipalities. These models are intended to be transferable to applications throughout the state and in private and public land conservation.
